Alpaca Fleeces
(Raw Fiber and Rovings)
We have a wide variety of alpaca fleeces available. If
there's a color you want, we are sure to have it! Shearing
for 2005 is now complete. Below are some of the fleeces
available. Your purchase will include, in separate plastic
bags, the prime blanket, the neck, and the leg fiber.
Although these are raw fleeces which will have some vegetation
and dust, all animals are "blown" before shearing.
Blowing involves taking what amounts to a huge hair dryer
and blowing out as much of the dirt and hay bits as possible.
